Common Questions
What to expect?
Get ready to embark on an incredible journey of yoga and sound healing! We'll start by practicing breath awareness techniques, followed by a gentle warm-up and joint release series to prepare your body for the amazing. You'll feel the warmth of the sun as we move through various standing, balancing, and back bending poses. But that's not all! We'll also explore the cooling phase of the class, where we'll hold more passive asanas for longer periods. With Hatha yoga, we'll balance Yin and Yang energies, and follow up with pranayama breathing exercises to still the mind and increase concentration. Finally, we'll reach the most essential part of the class - meditation. Get ready to feel rejuvenated and refreshed!
What items should you bring?
For your comfort, please bring your yoga mat. Rest assured, I provide all the other props, like blankets, cushions, bolsters, and yoga blocks, personally selected to enhance your practice. Optional items to bring (that I don't supply for hygiene reasons) include an eye mask or weighted eye pillow. You could also bring a thin blanket or a shawl.
Regarding non-physical items, come in with an open mind, heart, and no preconceived expectations.
Can I book a private class?
Absolutely! I'd love to help you out. I offer private classes that can take place in a public park of your choice or even in the comfort of your own home in Inner West. To make sure your experience is tailored to your needs, I'll send you a detailed questionnaire a few days before our session. That way, I can create a highly personalized yoga and sound healing session just for you! My private sessions typically last between 75-90 minutes.
